North West Norfolk MP Henry Bellingham is the keynote speaker at a Norfolk Chamber of Commerce meeting in Lynn which will focus on the importance of overseas trade.
He and other specialists will be talking to local businesses about how and why they should expand their business networks overseas.
Mr Bellingham will explain the importance of trading overseas, how it will progress company development and also its impact on the local and national economy as a whole.
Specialists in the field will also provide a quick overview of all the areas that businesses need to consider including finance, documentation and shipping.
These include Tracey Howard, Norfolk Chamber of Commerce, who will talk about export documentation; Bradley Rowley, of International UK Business Network, who will advise on overseas market assistance; Mike Roll, of Natwest, who talk about banking; Ryan Cracknell, of Mills and Reeve, who will discuss law; Ben Moulton, of Anglia Freight Ltd, who will explain shipping; and Peter Wilson, of Novagraaf, who will talk about intellectual property rights.
The event takes place on Tuesday, September 16, at Yours Business Networks, 18 Tuesday Market Place, and starts at 12.30pm with refreshments followed by the seminar at 1.30pm. It is due to end at 4pm.
These events are free to attend for companies of all sizes who are able to export their products and services overseas. Booking is essential.
