Record numbers of youngsters and their parents enjoyed taking a closer look at the night sky.
King’s Lynn and District Astronomy Society members organised the session in Tottenhill Village Hall on Saturday to coincide with the BBC’s Stargazing Live programme.
A total of 250 people went along and were able to view the rings of Jupiter along with some of its moons. Club secretary Alan Gosling said: “It was a big success with an exciting atmosphere and people really enjoyed themselves. There were queues by the telescopes.” Among those who attended were local MPs Henry Bellingham and Elizabeth Truss
