A charity cycling event is set to return to West Norfolk this summer and organisers say its success has spawned two other similar events.
Hundreds got on their bikes to take part in the inaugural Cycle Together Sandringham, which raised more than £18,000 for the Park House Hotel last June.
Now, organisers are calling for people to sign up for this year’s event, which will take place on Sunday, July 13.
And, after more than 500 people signed up in 2013, organisers hope that 1,000 will enter this time around.
Park House fundraiser Phi Davies said the success of the 2013 event had inspired two others, in the Peak District and from Bournemouth to the New Forest, which will run for the first time this year.
He said: “With summer on its way, many of us look for the best opportunities to make the most of the great outdoors, so what better way to make a date with us and join in the fun.”
Participants can choose from four routes, covering 10, 20, 50 and 100 miles respectively.
Mr Davies said maps and signs had been improved and it will also be easier to sign up on the day, following feedback received from people who took part in the 2013 ride.
There will also be more facilities available for families on the shorter routes, which are suitable for all ages.
