A new president has taken the helm of Downham Rotary Club.
Outgoing president Alan Culley handed over the reins to successor Paul Garner during the annual dinner, which was held in Masonic Hall on Friday last week.
In his report Mr Culley told the audience that a record £24,550 had been given to charitable causes during the year. The club had also supported international and local charities.
He also noted the success of the technology tournament which saw 80 youngsters taking part and there were a record number of candidates to received a Rotary Youth Leadership Award.
