Injecting fun into Lynn’s Rotary Club whilst raising money for children in need is the mission of new president Bob Sharp.

Retired engineering firm owner Bob joined the friendship, community and fundraising focused organisation in 2001 in a bid to repay society for support his late son Lee received during his Leukaemia battle. Lee, who died aged 17 in 1990, was able to go to Disney World during his illness thanks to the generosity of others.

Bob, 63, wants to find a similarly deserving child or group of children and plans to complete a skydive and 50-mile plus bike ride to raise funds. He took the chain of office from ex-King Edward VII School headteacher Michael Walker Photo: MLNF14AF06786
