Norfolk County Council chairman Hilary Cox has been walking across the county to raise funds for charity.

Mrs Cox has been undertaking a three-day, 110 mile Coast to Coast walk in aid of county-based cancer charity, Big C.

She set off from Lynn early on Tuesday morning, where, as our picture above shows, she was seen off by West Norfolk’s mayor, Elizabeth Watson, Rachel Francis from Big C and the Bishop of Lynn, the Rt Revd Jonathan Meyrick.

Mrs Cox was expected to complete the challenge yesterday, as the Lynn News went to press.
