North Lynn residents have the chance to help make changes in their community which could help lead towards a happier and healthier future.

The community engagement event is being held on Tuesday, March 11, at North Lynn Community centre; registration is from 5.30-6pm, with the meeting then continuing from 6-9pm. Local folk will be able to:

n Have a say in shaping local health and wellbeing activities;

n Tackle the health issues that matter most in the community;

n Get involved in volunteering, training and support.

The aim is to let local people have a voice and be involved in the planning, preparation, decision-making and delivery phases of the Healthy Communities project.

Sean Christie, the project manager of Norfolk’s Living Well Healthy Communities, adds: “The session format includes discussing hopes and concerns, and then table discussions on key topics. We finish with an opportunity to network between residents and organisations who attend as well as having some food.”

For further details or to book, contact Mr Christie on 078272 82430, or email sean.christie@norfolk.gov.uk

A free buffet will be available if booked in advance.
