More than 200 visitors attended a unique open garden event, raising around £1,100 for the village church.
Six gardens and a vineyard were available for people to view during the event in support of St Andrew’s Church.
Helen Lilley, one of the organisers, said: “It went extremely well and we were very fortunate with the weather.
“It was very wet until the middle of the morning but by the time we opened the sun was shining.”
St Andrews, which dates back to the Middle Ages and is the only remaining one of three churches that once stood in the parish, is fundraising for new kitchen and toilet facilities.
