A pamper day is a purrfect way to raise money for a cats charity.

The Cats Protection Downham Adoption Centre will be benefitting from the stalls which will be set up in Runcton Holme Social Club on Sunday, April 6.

Manicures, Indian head massages, Reiki, tarot reading, craft stands, sweets and jewellery will be on offer.

The adoption centre currently has 77 cats looking for a loving home, including Brianne. She sadly came into care after her previous owner went into care.

Stacey Ely, deputy manager of the adoption centre, said: “The Pamper Day promises to be a really special event – especially as it will help raise some much needed funds to help us care for unwanted cats.”

Tickets cost £2.50 in advance or £3 on the door.

For further information about the event, or to adopt a cat, please call the centre on 01366 382311.
