Volunteers are needed to support witnesses at Lynn Magistrates’ Court.

The Witness Service, which is part of the charity Victim Support, is looking for people who can provide emotional and practical support to witnesses attending court to give evidence in all manner of cases.

Comprehensive training is provided, and expenses such as travel and parking are refunded. No experience is necessary, although volunteers need to have good communication skills, display a caring and supportive attitude and undergo a DBS check (formerly CRB) to discover any criminal record.

Any enquires in the first instance should be to the service delivery manager Helen on 01553 777083.
