Police investigate King’s Lynn robbery

Witnesses are being sought after a man was attacked and robbed in Lynn.

Police say the incident happened on the Hardings Way bus lane between 6 and 8pm on Saturday, June 21.

The victim, a 37-year-old man, was walking along the footpath with a friend when they were approached by two other men, who asked for a cigarette.

Shortly afterwards, they were approached by a larger group, including the two men who had previously asked for the cigarette.

The victim was punched twice and fell to the ground, before a wallet and driving licence were taken from his trouser pocket.

Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who either witnessed the incident, or who saw a group of men acting suspiciously in the area during that period.
