An Ingoldisthorpe-based community motorcycle group is holding a charity ride-out for Tapping House Hospice on Sunday, June 22, and would like other motorcyclists to join them.
Members want 100 bikers to do the 100-mile round route which will leave Hillington at 1pm and all types of motorcycles are welcome.
Martin Bruce from the group said: “Come along, the greater the variety, the more interesting it will be. It is not a race, it is a group ride and everyone will be very welcome.”
After the ride a ‘welcome back’ reception will be held offering refreshments including a hotdog.
All of the money raised will go to the hospice which receives only 12 per cent of it’s funding from NHS.
Bikesure, the East Winch insurance broker has already pledged £2,000 to sponsor the event.
There is a registration fee of £5 per bike payable on the day and entrants need to register online or by phoning 01485 542891. To sponsor the group go to www.norfolkhospice.org.uk/fundraising or find The Norfolk Hospice on Facebook.
