A number of Lynn roads will be closed for the eighth Bespak Grand East Anglia Run on Sunday, May 4 – or they are one way going out of town.

The 10k challenge sees runners setting off from the Tuesday Market Place on a traffic-free course which takes in the town centre, the River Ouse pathway and The Walks.

It starts at 10.30am but roads will be closed or made one-way from 9.45am until 12.30pm. Tuesday Market Place itself is closed from 8am to 2pm.

The cost of entry is £17 for affiliated runners and £19 for unaffiliated runners. To enter, runners must be aged 15 or over on race day. The Bespak Mini GEAR (1.2 miles) is open to anyone over six-years-old. The cost of entry for Bespak Mini GEAR is £6 for adults, £5 for under 16s and £4 for under eights.

There are generous cash prizes for Bespak GEAR category winners and everyone taking part will receive a quality medal and goody bag. You still have until Thursday, May 1 to enter. Take part by registering online now at
