The new family home for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at Anmer could soon be ready for their arrival after the final planning application was granted.
Anmer Hall, on the Sandringham Estate, is reported to be earmarked as the future home of Prince William, Kate Middleton and their new son Prince George.
A planning application that included the conversion of wood stores into accommodation and the re-routing of the driveway were approved in the summer.
But earlier this month the plans had to be re-submitted after an alteration was made to the original application.
West Norfolk Council approved the resubmitted plans on Wednesday without them having to go before the planning committee.
Diggers and archaeologists were spotted working at the historic Georgian house in September.
Other modifications to the property include extra trees being planted in a bid to screen the house from public view.
