Emergency services are attending a second crash on the A47 near King’s Lynn just a few hours after a lorry and car collided at East Winch.

Firefighters have closed the slip road to Terrington St John on the Lynn bound carriageway after a Skoda Fabia hit a tree at 12.15pm (Wednesday, March 26).

The A47 at East Winch is expected to be closed until 6pm tonight after the car and lorry collided close to the Carpenter’s Arms at 11.15am.

The A47 is closed between the Hardwick roundabout in King’s Lynn and Swaffham. Two diversions are in place – large vehicles are advised to take the A10, A134 and A1065 to avoid the area. There is also a route for smaller vehicles set up via the A149 from King’s Lynn towards Hunstanton.
