SEE VIDEO: King’s Lynn hospital team battles for top award

Waiting for Video...

A team of apprentices from Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital has raised £2,700 for dementia care despite missing out on a top national award.

The group reached the final stage of the Brathay Apprentice Challenge, which was held in the Lake District this week, in recognition of its work to create a reminiscences room at the hospital to aid the treatment of dementia patients.

Our video shows the Lynn team competing in a host of challenges, which culminated in a whaleboat race across Lake Windermere.
