Lynn Foodbank has been presented with trolleys loaded with groceries donated by customers at Lynn’s town centre Sainsbury’s to help it to meet unprecedented demand for its services.

The foodbank, which provides a few days worth of food to families in crisis who are referred to it by a registered agency, is helping around 200 families a month this year compared with around 150 families a month last year.
