Services for newborn babies at Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital have been boosted by a mother whose own daughter was treated there.

Members of the Terrington and Wisbech Slimming World groups took part in the chain’s Slim For Good campaign for the hospital’s neonatal unit and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

The causes are important to the groups as Terrington group member Gemma Hudson’s daughter, Elsie, was treated at the neonatal unit. Another group member, Vanessa Goodson, has a daughter who lives with cystic fibrosis. The effort raised a total of £1,090 for the two causes .
