Tourists could soon be rolling in zorb ball if an activity park gets planning permission on Monday.

West Norfolk Council officers have recommended its planning committee to approve a bid to create an activity park on a 9.2 acre site near Snettisham Park Farm.

Neil Grant, who is working in conjunction with the Stanton family, to create the park site between Bircham Road and St Thomas’ Lane.

Inflatable equipment will be used to provide water zorbing, body zorbing, sumo suits and bouncy boxing arena and trampolines. There are also plans for an inflatable slide.

A report to Monday’s planning committee said: “Park Fam Snettisham is a well-established tourist facility which attracts visitors to the riding school, deer safari, camp site, tea room and other farm related activities.

“The proposed use is compatable with the wider use of the site and would serve exisiting visitors.”

The bid is expected to create three full time posts and six seasonal jobs.
