West Norfolk is home to a new tourist attraction after an inflatable leisure park was given the green light.

Visitors have been enjoying zorbing, trampolines and bouncy boxing now XS Pursuits is up and running on Park Farm, Snettisham.

Neil Grant, who is working with the Stanton family, was over the moon when his change of use application was approved by West Norfolk Council’s planning committee during a meeting in Lynn on Monday.

Last year Mr Grant had submitted a similar application for a site in Beach Road, which was not successful.

He said: “I am elated - it has been a long battle and very stressful.

“I am looking forward to a busy summer.”

The park opened on April 1, under a 28-day fairground licence.

Mr Grant and his team took three weeks to install the inflatable equipment, including a 12.3 metre high downhill zorb ramp.

Tourists have also been enjoying water zorbing area and body zorbing along with a bouncy boxing arena. The site also has four trampolines.

Mr Grant said: “We are doing ok. We’re picking up 30 to 40 people a day but hope to see that figure rising.”

The park is open daily from 10am to 5pm.

Admission prices are: £3.50 for 10 minutes on one piece of equipment or £16 per person for an hour.
