Visitors to Lynn’s Corn Exchange can make the most of the unseasonably warm weather and watch the transformation of the Tuesday Market Place take shape under the shade of two new parasols.
The permanent fixtures are also heated and fitted with lights, making them a perfect shelter for theatregoers in the evenings and during winter.
As part of the move to create a cafe culture on the market place the Corn Exchange has gained more outside space. As well as the parasols there will be tables and chairs to seat around 20 people, with a barrier around them.
Publicity assistant Sarah Dignam said: “They look really nice and blend in well with the colour of the building.
“It is something we can use in the daytime for the coffee house, and in the evening more people might go outside and have a drink.”
