A gym is thought to have closed 10 months after it opened and the staff have been made redundant.
Flex Bodyworks, which is based in Lubeck Road, North Lynn, has been closed since a minor fire, sparked by an electrical fault, on Wednesday last week.
Staff have left a posting on the gym’s Facebook page apologising to members and explaining the situation on Wednesday evening.
The posting states: “Members of staff, are unable to answer any questions relating to Flex Bodyworks as a company and any issues related to the business.
“The staff have been made redundant and as a result are removed from the company in any way and would appreciate not being contacted on a personal basis to answer questions.
“We empathise with you as you are currently without a gym and we will endeavor to keep you informed via Facebook as the situation develops.”
The posting states that the damage to the window was created by the vacum as firefighters entered the building to put on the small fire.
The gym opened on the North Lynn industrial estate in January this year. It’s facilities included weights and diet advice.
