A Mad Hatter’s tea party was a fitting finale to the first day of Lynn Academy’s Summer School.
Students who will join the school in September took part in a week of summer learning, beginning with an Alice in Wonderland day.
Co-ordinator Laura McNeil said the part of the book in which Alice felt small was related to primary pupils feeling small in their large new high school. The punctuality-conscious White Rabbit was used to encourage youngsters to be on time for lessons.
Everything stopped for tea at the end of the day. Mad Hatter George Sewell is pictured pouring a cuppa for Megan Thorburn, both 11. Picture: ALAN MILLER MLNF13AM08120
