There is the promise of another fascinating evening at Lynn Town Guides annual Diana Bullock Memorial Lecture in the setting of Lynn Town Hall on March 26.

The subject this year,‹ King’s Lynn at War: From Zeppelins to Conkers, ‹is bound to attract a lot of interest and a full house for the evening, which starts at 7.30pm, is expected.

The speaker is Paul Coleman, who studied at the College of West Anglia (Ruskin) under the tutelage of noted Lynn historian Dr Paul Richards and is currently studying for an MA at Leeds University on communications during the First World War.

He recently addressed a conference at Oxford University on the same subject and he has done voluntary work at Lynn’s True’s Yard.

Tickets are available at £7 (which includes a glass of wine) from any of the Town Guides or the Tourist Information Centre at the Custom House.
