The 1st Terrington St Clement Guides put on their aprons and spent all morning making around 110 portions of different cakes ready to run an afternoon tea shop.
They invited parents, friends and local supporters to a strawberry tea party as part of the Breast Cancer Care campaign.
About 60 people supported the event and enjoyed cakes such a double chocolate and raspberry cake, white chocolate and raspberry muffins, a Union Jack cake decorated with blueberries, raspberries and strawberries, coffee and walnut cake and scones with jam and cream.
Cappuccino, latte, hot chocolate with cream was also on the menu with of course a cup of tea.
Donation boxes were placed on each table with a suggested donation of £2. Afternoon tea quiz sheets and a strawberry tea cake game were also available. Donation for the charity totalled to £196, with expenses being taken from unit funds.
The girls – pictured above – had a great time as they wheeled the trolley round and serving the fabulous cakes they had made.
