Three men sentenced for drugs offences following police raid

Three men arrested in a police raid on a Lynn home have been sentenced for drug offences, one of them to jail.

Paul Cook, 37, of Sir Lewis Street, Lynn was sentenced to 16 months in prison for possession with intent to supply cannabis.

Luther Barratt, 18, of Smith Avenue, Lynn pleaded guilty to being concerned in making of an offer to supply cannabis and was sentenced to 15 months in a young offenders institution.

Ryan Cook, 20, of Trinity Road, St. Johns Fen End was sentenced to 150 hours supervised work and ordered to pay £240 in fines for possession with intent to supply cannabis.

The three appeared before Norwich Crown Court on Monday, January 14, and admitted the charges against them.

They were all arrested during a drugs raid in Dobby Drive, Lynn, on May 3, last year. Cannabis and drug related paraphernalia were found at the address.

Chief Inspector David Buckley said: “We will continue to tackle drug dealing within our community and take serious action against those involved in this kind of criminal activity.”
