Two women and a 10-year-old girl were injured in a collision on the main route between Lynn and Hunstanton yesterday, Sunday, June 1.

Police are appealing for witnesses in connection with the incident, which happened on the A149 at Castle Rising shortly before 4pm.

A Norfolk Police spokesman said it was believed that that a second motorist may have been involved in the crash, but failed to stop. However, no description of any other vehicle that many have been involved has yet been released

The spokesman said the injured group had been travelling towards Hunstanton when their car left the road and came to rest in a ditch.

The women and girl were all taken to Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital, though their injuries were not believed to be serious.

Fire crews from the Lynn station were also called to the scene to help make the site safe.

Anyone with information about the incident should contact police on 101.
