This weekend is your last chance to see a sparkling display of Christmas trees at Swaffham’s parish church.

A total of 28 trees have been decorated in support of a host of town charities for the third annual festival, which continues at the St Peter and St Paul church until Sunday.

Organiser Gill Creed said: “It’s going really well. It was really busy on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.”

Unlike in previous years, visitors to the festival can leave donations for their favourite good causes in collection buckets which have been placed under each tree.

Around £4,000 was raised for charities at each of the last two tree festivals and Mrs Creed said she was confident that this year’s event would raise a similar amount.

The church will be open between 10am and 4pm today and tomorrow. Admission is free.
