A group of men, women and teenagers accused of kidnap and beating returned to court this week and will now face trial.
The accused are variously charged with kidnap, false imprisonment, grievous bodily harm, blackmail and robbery relating to an incident in a West Norfolk village in April.
Two teenagers, who cannot be named and Edward Dolan, 37, of Walpole Marsh, Walpole St Andrew, have been released on bail.
All others in the case have been remanded in custody.
They are: Violet Chilton, 56, of Dades Lane, St John Fen End; Wayne Dolan, 35, of Walpole Marsh, Walpole St Andrew, Laura Dolan, 36, of Two Sisters Close, Sutton Bridge, Thomas Chillton, 28, of Dades Lane, St John Fen End, Jason Chilton, 26, of Dades Lane, St John Fen End, Vanessa Frankham, 48, of Wisbech Road, Walpole St Andrew and Natalie Cooper, 22, of Bridge Road, Sutton Bridge. All have denied the charges against them.
Valerie Harris, 46, of Thistlebrook, London, also appeared at a hearing in Norwich on Wednesday. along with Sheila Conboy, 55, of Walpole Marsh, Walpole St Andrew.
A trial will begin in Norwich on January 2 and is expected to last for around five weeks.
