Lynn’s Springwood High School has created 24 Norfolk scholars this year - students who have achieved at least either 2 As and a C or an A and 2Bs.

Of all results awarded, 71 per cent were A* to C grades, which Andrew Johnson, executive headteacher, said was a particular achievement due to changes in the way subjects are examined this year.

He said: “Previously students could sit modules several times to get the best grades. Now they sit AS levels at the end of Year 12 and A2 at the end.”

Last year, under the previous examination system, 74 per cent of results were A* to C grades.

Don’t forget to send us a selfie with your results sheet.
