Two men have been arrested and bailed in connection with an attack on a teenager near a North Lynn youth centre at the weekend.
A 17-year-old boy was found with injuries to his right arm and shoulder blade following an incident outside the Discovery Centre in Columbia Way, which was reported to police shortly after midnight on Sunday.
Detectives, who have appealed for witnesses to come forward, have said they are connecting the assault with an earlier incident inside the building, in which the same victim was attacked.
The teenager was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment, but was later discharged, a Norfolk Police spokesman said yesterday.
Two men, aged 63 and 28 respectively, were detained and later released on bail until next month pending further inquiries.
Anyone who has information about the incident is asked to contact Det Con Emma Cross, of Lynn CID, via the non-emergency 101 number (calls cost 15p).
