An investigation has been launched after two women reported that they were racially abused in Lynn.
Police said today, Monday January 20, that the women were on the cycle path near the Tennyson Avenue level crossing when the incident happened between 3.40 and 3.50pm on Friday.
Two men cycled past the women just after they had turned onto the path. As they passed, one shouted racial abuse and other offensive language towards them.
The men are described as white, aged between 16 and 21, both with dark hair and on bicycles.
One of them was said to be wearing a dark tracksuit with the bottoms tucked into his socks. The second man was wearing jeans.
Officers say there were a number of people in the area at the time of the incident and they are urging witnesses to come forward.
Anyone with information should contact PC Natalie Riseborough, of Lynn police, on the non-emergency 101 number.
