A popular flower festival has raised more than £1,800 for St Peter’s Church in Upwell.
Members enjoyed welcoming a steady flow of people to look around the 20 to 30 floral displays, which followed the theme of A Good Read, during the three-day event.
Village organisations, friends and members of flower arranging clubs created the stunning pedestals and other displays which adorned the church.
The Gilbert and Sullivan Operatic Group and Teddy’s Boys performed during a concert evening in the church.
The festival also included a coffee morning and culminated in a songs of praise service.
The festival is put together by reader Daphne Calvert and Ros Shorting.
Mrs Calvert said: “We were very pleased with the flower festival. ”
