The magic of Christmas came alive in North Creake last Friday as youngsters met Santa at the village’s lights switch-on.
Borough councillor Garry Sandell flicked the switch for a display watched by a large crowd of residents.
Donations by supporters enabled the lights sub-committee to spend some £300 on additional lights this year. Parish council chairman Adam Bunkle said: “We financed it from last year’s raffle and donations, many of which came from local businesses. In all we have spent £600.”
The festivities also included a barbecue and refreshments at the Jolly Farmers pub.
