Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian died in a collision outside the Norfolk Arena at Saddlebow late last night.
The 32-year-old woman, who has not yet been named, was leaving the Stock Car world final, which had been taking place at the venue, at around 11.20pm, when she was involved in a collision with a black Renault Trafic minibus.
Police, paramedics and fire crews were called to the area, but the woman, who is not believed to be from the local area, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Up to 8,000 motorsport fans had been expected at the event and police say that roads in the area were very busy at around the time of the incident.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has information about it, is asked to contact the Norfolk Police serious collision investigation team via the non-emergency 101 number.
