Work on a controversial regeneration project in Hunstanton has begun.
Borough council officials hope work on the Spinney, which started last week, will be completed by mid-November.
Alistair Beales, the authority’s portfolio holder for regeneration, said: “It’s great to see work starting on this project.
“The area will be an attractive yet functional space which will be able to host small-scale events and activities designed to draw people into the town from the bus station.”
St Edmunds Terrace will be closed to through traffic along the northern side of the Spinney while the work is going on and will become a pedestrian priority area once it is completed. The junction of Westgate and High Street will also be closed in early November as part of the works.
