Pupils at Gaywood Primary School learnt vital life-saving skills in a pilot course run by the team behind SOS Project Safe Haven, which helps those in need at night in Lynn’s town centre.
The special course taught the Year Six students essential skills such as how to put a bandage on, how to do CPR and how to use the recovery position.
Headteacher Paul Shanks said: “It was fantastic. The kids absolutely loved it and have been talking non-stop about it. There was a lot of pride. At this age they will remember it and they have such a thirst for knowledge and learning. You never know when they will need this, you hope they never will but they would be able to help.”
