Apprentices got the chance to discuss their craft with Henry Bellingham, MP for North West Norfolk, when he visited Bircham Newton’s national construction college to mark National Apprenticeship Week.

Mr Bellingham spoke to apprentices and instructors in various fields at the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), including scaffolders and plant operators.

During his visit Mr Bellingham presented Carl Tibbles, plant instructor at the college, with a 10-year long service award.

National Apprenticeship Week is coordinated by the National Apprenticeship Service to celebrate what apprenticeships offer to employers and individuals.
