The Vancouver Quarter made one youngster’s dreams come true yesterday when they gave their Lucky Letter competition winner the chance to become a vet for the day.

Abbie Panks, centre manager, said “The letter from 10-year-old Tracey-Kym Gooch showed that she is determined to become a vet, which is such a lovely thing for one so young, so it was only right that we should try and help nurture this. Thanks must also go to Donna Northwood and the rest of the staff at Millhouse Vets for helping Tracey with what is sure to be a wonderful day for her.” Tracey, pictured with vet Sarah Colegrave and patient Shadow, was given a tour and attended clinics with the lead vet where she met the patients and watched treatments.
