Today will see the first annual Pat Midgley Memorial Lecture held at Lynn’s Town Hall to co-incide with the 23rd anniversary of True’s Yard opening.

Over 70 people gathered at the last talk to hear local historian Dr Paul Richards speak, and with the next talk on Pat Midgley herself, the founding of True’s Yard and the role it plays as a community museum, this is expected to be just as popular.

The talk will be held in the Stone Hall and will remember Pat, who died in January 2013, but her memory lives on in her work.

All donations raised in the evening will go to the Museum’s Repair and Refurbishment Fund.
