Holistic therapies for cancer patients at Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital will be expanded thanks to a record-breaking £5,300 donation from the Robert Foot Memorial Leukaemia Fund and Lynn’s Vancouver Round Table.

The money was the most ever raised from the Round Table’s annual Lynn Beer Festival, held in July last year, and it was donated to Wendy and Michael Foot for the charity they set up in memory of their son Robert, who died from leukaemia 11 years ago.

The charity helps pay for patient comforts not funded by the NHS, with this latest donation going to the Shouldham Ward at Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital to expand an holistic therapy service provided by Gemma Giles-Barnes.
