'Yvonne Line Dancing' give 1000 to the Save A Life Fund. Yvonne Eastwood presents the cheque to Mammographer Paula Bellis. The line dancers have raised 18000 so far.

Line dancers from Snettisham and Heacham put their best foot forward to raise £1,000 for the Mammogram Unit at Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Yvonne Eastwood, who runs the classes, presented the cheque to mammographer Paula Bellis.

The money was raised from a series of raffles, line dancing demonstrations and a birthday donation of £320 from line dancer Pat Stevenson.

Yvonne has been running the classes for around 15 years and has been fundraising for the Mammogram Unit since she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2000. Over the past 13 years, the groups have raised a total of £18,000.

Yvonne said: “I like to support the unit because they spend the money on vital equipment.”
