Seventeen volunteers walked a distance of more than eight miles during the summer heatwave to raise money for Briar House, a Lynn care home for those with dementia.
A total of £1,000 was raised from the walk which went from Briar House to Sandringham.
The money will be used to benefit the residents through music therapy and also trips and days out over the next few months and at Christmas.
Briar House is treating 62 residents, helping them with day-to-day care using specialist equipment and services.
Jodie Lewis, manager, said: “The money is going to be used to purchase many activities for the patients such as bingo and music therapy. It will also help on trips to the pantomime over Christmas and other small touches to make their time here as enjoyable as possible.”
