Bus bosses say they are still waiting for notification of planned strike action by Lynn-based drivers, following last week’s ballot in favour of a walkout.
Almost 90 per cent of RMT union members who work for Stagecoach in Norfolk, formerly Norfolk Green, backed calls for industrial action in a pay dispute.
An even bigger majority supported taking action short of a strike.
Union officials have held further discussions since the result of the ballot was published last Wednesday.
But, although November 24 has been suggested as a possible date for action, no strike date has yet been announced.
Stagecoach managers yesterday told the Lynn News they had yet to receive further correspondence from the union in relation to the dispute.
