The commemoration in Lynn’s Tower Gardens marked the 70th anniversary of the UN Charter coming into force.
The event began with prayers by All Saints Church rector, Father Adrian Ling and those paying their respects joined a two minute silence.
West Norfolk mayor Colin Manning laid the first wreath followed by Brigadier Tony Kendall for the British Korean Veterans Association.
The 1950-1953 Korean War was the only conflict in which the UN took part and since then they have only participated in peace keeping activities around the world.
Tony Kendall, secretary of the West Norfolk branch of British Korean Veterans Association, has revealed that it could be the last remembrance service of its kind unless the Royal British Legion takes the service on.
A decision of whether the Royal British Legion will take over will be made at their annual general meeting in November.
