A telegraph from The Queen was one of the highlights for Goodwins Hall Care Home’s eldest resident on Tuesday.
Phyllis Plant, who has outlived all of her relatives, turned 105 and was joined by staff and friends to celebrate her special day at the home.
Sarah Fysh, the home’s activities organiser, said: “Phyllis is an amazing women. She still dresses very smart and really looks after herself. She still has her hair done every week.”
