Stroke patients at Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital will benefit from the proceeds of a soapbox derby held at a village pub. A host of unusual vehicles hurtled down the course during the inaugural event, which was hosted by the Cock Inn in Magdalen, in August.

Landlord and landlady Jamie and Tracey Kidney are pictured above presenting the cheque to Sister Ann Lankester, from the stroke unit, alongside participants, friends and supporters.
