Have your say

A calendar of children’s art has gone on sale in aid of a West Norfolk animal rescue centre.

But, if you’ve already got your 2016 calendar, officials from the RSPCA rescue centre in East Winch say you can still help them by buying supplies from their Amazon wish list.

The drawings in the calendar were among more than 300 entries in a competition run during the centre’s summer fair earlier this year.

Manager Alison Charles said: “We had some really tough decisions to make, but the end result is fantastic. We hope everyone will buy a copy of the calendar for 2016. They will look lovely on the wall.

“Thanks to sponsors, Marine Nutrition, we have been able to make one hundred so there are plenty to go around.”

The centre is also calling for supporters to buy goods from its Amazon wish list of almost 20 items, ranging from pet food and washing powder to duck bowls and heat pads.

Currently, more than 150 hedgehogs, 34 seals, 29 swans and many other animals are being looked after at the site.

Copies of the calendar, priced £3.99 plus £2.80 postage and packing, can be ordered directly from the centre, by phoning 07921 404060 or emailing eastwinch@rspca.org.uk.

The wishlist can be found at www.amazon.co.uk, by searching for RSPCA East Winch Wildlife Centre under the Wish List link.
