Man in court over King’s Lynn GBH claim

An 18-year-old man has been remanded in custody in connection with an incident in North Lynn at the weekend.

Harry Kennett, of Walpole Road, North Lynn, appeared before the town’s magistrates on Tuesday, charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Norwich Crown Court next Tuesday, September 9.

The case relates to an incident in which a man in his 40s was found with a head wound and injuries to his chest and arm outside a property in George Street at around 6pm on Sunday. He was taken to hospital but later released.

Police say two other men, aged 21 and 25, were also arrested in connection with the incident.

They remain on bail pending further inquiries.
