A teaching assistant has celebrated 25 years of work in the village school she attended as a child.
A surprise assembly was held at the junior site of the Cherry Tree Academy, Marham, on Tuesday to mark the day in November 1990 when Pauline Sutton first began working there as a teaching assistant.
Mrs Sutton, who received flowers, cards and gifts from pupils and colleagues, also attended the school as a pupil, when it was the Marham Primary.
Executive principal Michaela Webb said: “She is a very special lady in everyone’s eyes.”
